World of Warcraft's Silvermoon City is being Recreated In Minecraft

The capital of blood elf is receiving the affection it deserves.

World of Warcraft's Silvermoon City is getting a Minecraft overhaul, and images of this work-in-progress have been displayed by Reddit user Lillmy03.

Reddit thread (opens new tab) discovered by Icy Veins (opens new tab) includes a photo of the entrance to the Eversong Woods of the blood elf capital, including the trees that surround the elevated road as well as the gold trim around its large entrance. There are even flowers scattered around the smaller bushes on the left. Other shots include a map overlay, as well as the Walk of Elders, inside the city itself.

Making familiar landscapes that are similar to other games in Minecraft will require an enormous amount of planning (and patience). Silvermoon City is particularly challenging because you can't just jump on a flying mount to get a good view of the entire area.

Still, that does not seem to put people off Genshin Impact's Mondstadt (opens in a new tab) was given the Minecraft treatment earlier in the year, and this Breath of the Wild map (opens in new tab) is breathtaking.

"It's still extremely raw and lots of things need detailing however, it's moving along! It's going to take time to finish everything however. says Lillmy03. I'm sure it will be worth the waiting.
