Ok, while I did laugh at some of the actions, I will attempt to address your concerns truthfully ... The bolt shrouds on the older T3 designs (T3, T3 Lite, etc) were plastic ... It really didn't affect anything, however some people don't like them, so there are lots of aftermarket choices available and changing it takes about 10 seconds ... The bolt shrouds on the newer T3X and CTR models are all aluminum ... Again, it does not affect anything ... The recoil lugs are aluminum ... Unless you have a really hard recoiler or do not put the action back into the stock properly (it can be done), it probably won't make a dang bit of difference ...


Again, there are numerous steel alternatives out there for pretty low-cost ... All of the higher end aftermarket stocks also come with steel lugs ...
