Believe In God?

There is no trace of impurity in God's nature; the Holy Creator is the mastermind behind attributes like honesty, patience, purity, holiness, love, and much more, and this is evident in the way He fashioned our planet.

Why Do Religions Believe In God?

God's requirements are not something that He just decided to do, to make things hard for us, it is who He is. He is permanently confined to his current role or identity. God can't do things that are outside of His nature.
It's like the unshakable laws that keep the universe in order.
According to the Bible, God is responsible for creating everything in the universe, even things too small to see. See what the Bible tells us in this chapter:

"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. (Isaiah 42:8)
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deuteronomy 4:24)
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. (Psalm 113:4)
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chronicles 29:11)
All the angels were standing around the throne...They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, (Revelation 7:11)

Most people today only know about God, but haven't really met Him.

God is the boss of everything, including us, and He just wants what's His. His command is to love and serve Him in return.
It can be difficult to accept, but this world is His toy, and He can make it however He likes. If we invented it, we would have the right to decide how it works. God says differently:

'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.' (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

God could've made life easier by making us robots without free will, but He didn't. But that's not what God wanted at all. God wanted beings that would willingly choose to love Him.
A creation with a resemblance to God.

Allowing people to have free will means they might choose to reject you, which is a danger.

If you allow someone to make their own decisions, they might go against your authority, which is what we did.
It's a problem because we all have flaws or do things that the Bible considers to be wrong. Doing these things goes completely against God's nature and holiness, and it's like breaking the unbreakable laws of the universe that He created. Our bad actions have caused us to lose our relationship with God.

'The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?'(Jeremiah 17:9)
'But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.' (Psalm 19:12)

It is important to acknowledge that every negative action carries a responsibility towards God that must be fulfilled.

The things we're obliged to do for God:
'And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.' (Matthew 6:12)

Do you see how these things don't fit with God's perfect purity?
God doesn't like stealing, as the Bible says. Have you ever taken something that didn't belong to you?
Scripture teaches us not to desire what rightfully belongs to others. Have you ever felt envy towards your friend's spouse, way of life, belongings, or residence?
Honoring our parents is a requirement from God. Have you ever talked back to your parents?
Using God's Name flippantly or in vain goes against His teachings. Have you ever blasphemed His Name by saying in a careless way or as a cuss word?

Everything is known to God, no exceptions. And remember, we saw that ALL bad things MUST be put right. There will be a time when we must answer for every bad thing. Or, you could describe it as being in accordance with the unchangeable laws of the universe. The Bible refers to it as easing God's anger. This might be a shock to you, since you believe that God's love is infinite for all. Many people believe that God could never be upset with anyone, no matter their misdeeds. People who are uninformed about the basics often argue that God is supposed to love us no matter what we do.
It's true that God loves the world, but we must also respect His holiness. It's beyond possible.

It's impossible to grasp the nature of God, who is eternal, by applying our expectations, behaviour and earthly standards.
He's beyond the limits of our understanding, and the Bible gives us a glimpse of who He is. Demanding that He abide by our rules, only gives us a futile hope in something that is not real and will end soon.

People wrongly blame God for the things that go wrong in the world, but it is not God’s fault. He created everything flawlessly. It all started with Adam's mistake and we're still feeling the consequences.

The Bible says:

'For all have sinned (done wrongs things), and do need the glory of God. wrongs' (Romans 3:23)

Being good and doing good things won't save you from the consequences of bad thoughts and behavior. There is no salvation without Jesus Christ. Just because you're a good person and attend church, doesn't mean you're going to heaven. It's important to confess our mistakes to God and ask for genuine forgiveness. Once we ask for forgiveness, we must live our lives fully for God.
Again, the Bible tells us that the punishment for our bad stuff is going to hell:

'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23)

God's Way of Fixing Your Mistakes

Don't stress, God has a plan to pay for all the bad things we do, so we can follow the unchangeable laws of the universe.
God's glorious plan involved Jesus Christ dying, being buried, and rising from the dead. This amazing plan was carried out in the open, witnessed by all creation: humans, angels, and even Satan. There's only one way to pay for our mistakes.

People often wonder why God's love doesn't seem to match His strictness. God is a loving entity., but, the Bible is very clear, you cannot have His love without His terrifying justice as well. They come as a package deal.
God's truth can't be fully understood by our own ways of thinking. We should not expect God to follow our rules because it gives us the wrong impression of Him. God is aware of every thought you have, so there's no way to deceive Him.

True Repentance Means Surrendering to God

Once you've shown genuine remorse for your mistakes, you feel an urge to live a life devoted to God. God requires us to do exactly this. It's like making God the supreme authority in our lives for always. We submit to all the teachings of the Bible.
The right way to go about things is what the Bible says:

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

God never said this, not once; 'If you do good deeds and are a good person, you can come to heaven and be with me.'
God has spoken about the path to forgiveness for our sins:

'To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:

"Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed:'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said,'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'
"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." (Luke 18:9-14)

The man in the story who practiced religion did not commit "bad" sins like arson, but God did not forgive him.
The tax collector was forgiven by God because he was truly sorry and repented. Confessing our wrongdoings and giving ourselves to God is an uncomfortable experience. Although, surrendering to God and admitting our faults is necessary for salvation.

Jesus Christ announced:

'He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
'And said, “Truly I say to you, unless you change and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.' (Matthew 18:2-3)

Just Doing Good Things For God Will Not Save Us Being Saved From Hell Is Not By Being Good Good Person Your Debt Cannot Be Paid By Being A Good Person Exceptionally Good Person

'You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own.' (Ephesians 2:8)

Can You Handle The Everlasting Consequences Of Your Sins In Hell?

'Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.' (Luke 9:23)

Taking up your cross means living a life of sacrifice and service to God every day.

God’s Word brings to light:

'Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

'But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.' (1Peter 3:15)

In summary:

You realize the weight of your sins before God. You sincerely express remorse for your error. Jesus Christ becomes your teacher. This decision lasts forever. We follow the Bible's teachings by living our lives for God. Make reading the Bible a part of your daily routine. Praying to God on a daily basis. Discipling others for God. Being a servant to others, as directed by God. You commit to serving God Most High as your primary goal for the rest of your life.
God our Father brings us to glorious heaven.
