Heat-friendly wigs use modacrylic fiber, which is able to tolerate less heat than synthetic hair wigs. This allows you to style with curling irons and hot irons for different looks. The heat will keep the shape of the wig until it's washed.

Use a mild shampoo with conditioner when washing your wig. It is important to wash wigs regularly in order to avoid damage and frizzing. For the best results, it is recommended to wash your wigs every six to 10 wearings.

After washing your wig, be sure to use a high-quality detangler such as Jon Renau's HD Smooth Detangler for optimal results. Applying detangler with care is important as the contents of the detangler could come loose and fall off the lace caps. Do not brush too hard or you could tear the lace.

The heat-friendly synthetic hair wig is pre-styled, ready to wear. However, it can be styled using heat tools like curling irons or straighteners. Its style will last until it is washed or restyled thanks to its heat-friendly fiber. Please keep heat tool temperatures below 320 degrees when styling with heat tools on this wig.

If you want to maintain your hair in the best condition possible, make sure that you brush it gently and comb it with a wide toothed comb. Be wary not to over-comb as this could result in loose strands becoming untangled or frizzing up, creating the potential for tangling or frizzing. It is also wise to mist damp wigs with light-weight detangler such as Jon Renau's HD Smooth Detangler; just take care not to apply conditioner directly near lace front knotting as this could compromise its integrity resulting in hair loss in that area!

Use this wide tooth comb from Jon Renau before washing your hairpiece to remove any knots. You should not use conditioner on lace front wigs as it can loosen knotted hairs in the nape of the cap, causing shedding. Instead, spray detangler such as Jon Renau's HD Smooth Mist to mist the wig.

After you have completed the wash cycle, gently pat your wig dry with a soft towel. Then place it on a stand and let it air dry. It will prevent the fibers from frizzing up during air drying. Reduce friction with clothing and the skin when styling longer styles, such as a low ponytail.

Wig Store USA recommends cleaning your wig once every six or ten wearings. This will help keep the wig fresh.
