Minecraft Build Inspired by Control is A Brutalist Daydream

It's always amazing to look at an awesome Minecraft build. My gaming blog Although Minecraft isn't really an experience about acquiring a mysterious weapon that changes shape and then attacking refrigerators with evil designs however, it does give a very narrow description of Control. It's a very logical comparison too, since today we're going to look at this incredible Control-inspired Minecraft build.

Ominous_Hippopotamus on Reddit who happens to be the owner of our most favorite handle of all time, posted an image of a hardcore base they've been working on inspired by the brutalist beauty of The Oldest House from Control. The Oldest House is an immensely mysterious place, filled with strange trinkets and weapons, as well as beings from other realms. The entire place can be described as a bit spooky and the video Ominous Hippopotamus put up of their base captures that wonderfully.

While we only get just a glimpse of this base, it is very real. The viewer is greeted by the wide atrium and a welcoming vegetation. However the video twists a corner and shows the unsettling geometry that juts out and creates a twisted the space.

It's a fantastic recreation of the area. Although it's unlikely the Hiss will be causing havoc It's a reminder of how much care and attention is put into all of the Minecraft creations. It's evident that a lot of effort and time was put into making it feel authentic. The lighting is especially impressive.

It's the same focus on the smallest of details that has players creating things like the Ghostbusters theme song from Redstone or even creating a data pack that will let you mess around with Breath of the Wild abilities. We're not sure if it's the same love that drives people to transform bees into Steve.
