The American International University in London (Richmond University) was formed in 1972 and is located in West London. It has two campuses in Richmond Hill and close to Kensington High Street.

Richmond's UK degrees were previously awarded through the Open University; however, starting in the 2018/2019 academic year, Richmond was permitted to award its own UK degrees after obtaining Taught Degree Awarding Powers from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. The Richmond Hill campus is home to first- and second-year students. Richmond is a city in Virginia. The American International University in London campus is located on a spectacular six-acre estate at the summit of Richmond Hill, one of London's most sought-after locales. An magnificent neo-Gothic building and a new five-level library, built in 1843, hold classrooms, computer and scientific laboratories, art and photography studios, and an auditorium.

Third-year, fourth-year, and postgraduate students attend our Central London campus in Kensington, which is located in one of London's most beautiful residential neighbourhoods. Its various buildings, all within 2 minutes' walk of the main Atlantic House on St Albans Lane, contain all of the necessary amenities, including home classrooms, computer laboratories, library, dining hall, and University offices.

 

Living Accommodation

Students residing on the Richmond University London Hill Campus have a variety of housing options, ranging from traditional shared rooms to single rooms for occupation. On the Richmond Hill campus, student housing is available in both the main building and the neighbouring buildings.

 Students on the Kensington Campus live in four houses within walking distance of the main campus buildings. Atlantic Building, which also houses the library, IT Laboratories, and dining hall, is Kensington's main residential hall.
