IVC-Services: What You Need to Know

Foreign nationals can apply for a Korean Tourist Visa if they meet the following requirements:

They are at least 18 years of age, and have no criminal record. - They are not suffering from any contagious diseases. - They have obtained an invitation letter from the inviting party. - The inviting party is qualified to issue an invitation letter according to the Foreigner Tourist Letter of Invitation Regulations.

The inviting party has sufficient funds (at least KRW 20 million) and has confirmed accommodation in Korea in accordance with the Foreigner Tourist Letter of Invitation Regulations.

When you apply for a South Korean visa, you will need your passport and copies of the first page of your passport, as well as one photo that meets the requirements. You will also need to fill out an application form and provide the names of at least three people who can write references on your behalf. Additionally, if you are applying from Singapore, you will need to provide proof that you have sufficient funds in order to get by when in South Korea. This proof can be in the form of bank statements or tax returns.

The visa approval process usually takes about two weeks and can vary depending on your country. The waiting time can be shorter or longer, so it is always best to plan ahead. Generally speaking, if you submit your application in the morning, you will receive an answer by the following morning. If you submit your application after 11 am, you might not receive an answer until the next day.

The KTC is not a visa, it is an entry permit. It does not allow you to work in South Korea but does allow you to stay in the country for 30 days and have access to public transportation. You are allowed one visit within 3 months from the date of issuance. The fee is KRW 50,000 and can be paid by cash (KRW) or credit card (KRW).
