Meanwhile, the Seoul national team won both the women's curling quartet DB (hearing impaired) and men's curling quartet DB events, which were held as pre-games on the 16th, two days before the opening ceremony.

In particular, the Seoul women's curling team achieved three consecutive wins until this tournament, following the 17th and 20th tournaments (the 18th and 19th tournaments were not held).

Snowboarder Choi Yong-seok (Seoul) won two gold medals in the giant slalom and snowboard cross events held on this day.
