1. Instant Search

Google Instant Search made it possible to use the internet in a different way and also provided quicker access to information. According to Google the service helped users save between 2 and 5 minutes per search, and multiplied millions of searches every month.

Since Instant Search was introduced, there have been a lot of questions regarding it. Many long-time Google users have complained they found it confusing and unwelcome but others found it to be useful.

Google recently introduced the "Recommended for You" section on the google play store download site. This recommends apps according to what your contacts have liked on Google+, what apps are popular in your area and also apps that are similar to the apps you've downloaded.

Like any recommendation system, it relies on machine learning to help fin the best possible suggestions. It's not always as effective as it could be, particularly when it comes to choosing the apps you'd like to utilize.

3. Search Custom

Custom search is a software that lets you customize the results displayed after users type in a keyword or phrase. It also offers ways to highlight specific websites or offers in search results.

This can be useful for websites that sell items or services, since it gives them the ability to personalize their results and ensure that they are displayed in a way that is most relevant to their target audience.

You can create and manage your search filters through the Publii application's 'Config > Personal' menu. You can name them, choose either 'contains' or 'doesn't contain', choose 'text' or'regex', type in your search query and then choose the location the location where your search will be performed (HTML, page text or an element, XPath and more).

4. Saved Searches

You can save search criteria that can be used for future searches with Saved Searches. They can be retrieved at a later time and also pulled into Live Displays.

You can filter the search results of saved searches by various factors. Filtering the search results by name, folder, and shared status is all possible.

Hotlists, saved searches, and bookmark groups can be identified with ID numbers. These ID numbers are found through the settings or info button, or choosing the name of the resource from the navigation left.

5. Wishlist

A wishlist can help shoppers remember the products they are interested in. You can also look at the products before buying them.

The process of adding items to a wishlist is easy and straightforward. If a buyer comes across something they would like to add, they simply click on the heart symbol in the top left corner.

This turns the hearts icon into a red color, which indicates that they've added this item to their wishlist.
