Min-sun Kim, who won her seventh consecutive medal and third gold of the season in her World Cup 500m event, added 60 ranking points to her overall score of 460. The only athlete with a higher women's 500m ranking point than Kim Min-seon, who won three gold, two silver, and two bronze medals at this season's World Cup, is Erin Jackson (USA, 474 points), who won the gold medal in this event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. If Kim Min-sun wins the second race of her 6th competition on the 5th and Jackson fails to place, a comeback is possible for her. Kim Min-seon recorded a total score of 354 points last season, becoming the first Korean player to rank first in this event 10 years after 'ice queen' Lee Sang-hwa in the 2012-2013 season.

Kim Min-seon said, “I am proud to be able to win the gold medal again at the World Cup. “I am satisfied because I feel like I am getting better ahead of the World Championships,” he said. The World Championships will be held in Calgary, Canada starting on the 16th.

In the Men's Mass Start Division A that followed, Jaewon Jeong (23) won the silver medal with a record of 7 minutes 56.11 seconds, following Shomu Sasaki (Japan, 7 minutes 56.06 seconds). Jaewon Jeong, who won one gold medal and two silver medals this season, finished the season in second place.  토토
