South Korean midfielder Hong Hyun-seok, who plays for Belgian professional soccer club KAA Gent, played 88 minutes to help his team to victory.

 

Gent won 3-1 away from home against Sporting Charleroi in the 13th round of the 2023-2024 Belgian Professional Football State League at the Stade de Charleroi in Charleroi, Belgium, on Saturday (local time).

 

Hong Hyun-seok, who started the match, was substituted in the 43rd minute and did not register an offensive point.

 

Hong, who scored the winning goal in the round of 32 of the Belgian Cup on Feb. 2 to send his team to the round of 16, has four goals and three assists in all competitions this season, including two goals and two assists in league play.

With seven wins, three losses and 21 points, Stuttgart is third in the league. They are seven points behind league leader Leverkusen (9 W, 1 D, 28 P).
