Antioxidant diet for glowing skin
Antioxidants have the power to capture free radicals and they also protect us from certain diseases. Antioxidant-diet is also capable to give us a healthier, glowing complexion.
If you really want to get skin glow from inside then it is best to consume antioxidant rich food sources. Try to eat 3 to 5 servings of vegetables and 2 to 4 servings of fruit each day. In order to get vitamin C try to select at least one citrus fruit, such as an orange, a tangerine, or a grapefruit. To increase beta-carotene intake, eat at least 2 orange-yellow or green leafy vegetables each day.
Healthy eating means younger looking skin. A cup of orange juice and 1 raw carrot is enough to get your daily RDA of vitamin C and beta-carotene. 1 tablespoon of canola oil = 9 mg.

- While cooking, try to use canola, olive, or another vegetable oil rather than butter or margarine.
Beta-carotene
There is no RDA available, but recommended = 5-6 mg.
1 carrot = 12 mg.
- Include orange, yellow vegetables and green leafy vegetables.
