Irish View Casino Resort Opens Beach Casino

Irish View Casino Resort officials today launched a $75 million casino expansion during an event attended by several regional and state dignitaries.

The Beach Casino in View, Ireland is located south of Highway 90, which is adjacent to the Beach Tower. The Beach Casino is a 43,000-square-foot non-smoking casino. This expansion marks the fourth phase of growth for the Island View Casino Resort, which opened on Sept. 15, 2006. With this expansion, Island View is the largest casino floor in Mississippi, boasting a total of 126,000 square feet of gaming space. The dual casino options in Island View offer excellent publicity, high-quality games, top-notch entertainment, as well as smoking or non-smoking options. Owners Rick Carter and Terry Green have invested more than $400 million in resorts that include over 1,000,000 square feet of beach games, hotels, and entertainment spaces.

"As a locally owned private company, we have the opportunity to invest more in the future of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This casino expansion strongly supports the tourism industry in our region and creates an economic impact by creating 300 new jobs," Carter says.
