MILWAUKEE 8pc SCREWDRIVER SET 48-22-2018 TOOL REVIEW TUESDAY!

[, Music ] there are so many screwdriver sets to choose from dimension. That'S to review Tuesday roll the intro [ Music ] welcome back friends. So this is the work corner of my garage, I'm very excited in the last year to have transformed kind of a mess into something that's completely organized. I recently mentioned in a video discussion with Brian fortune of Brian's lawn maintenance. He was interviewing me and I said how this is kind of a Casey Neistat inspired work corner and in Casey nightstands video I've seen him talk about having a place for everything and what I've done is I traced all the tools when I'm done. I it's taking a long time I like to be this organized, but I I spent so many years going into my tool box, which is over there and digging through all the drawers trying to find a Phillips, screwdriver or flathead or square bit, or something like that. And I couldn't find it and I would get frustrated and I kind of lose my motivation to finish the project. So this work, one right here, I believe, has pretty much all the essential things that I need to build a project. I do have some other power tools somewhere else, but for all the hand, tools everything right here - it's kind of laid out in a nice organized fashion. So one of the things that I want to talk about today. This is kind of like the I don't make all the flagship. This is the like. The anchor the center point of my work corner, the set of screwdrivers right here. So I have this Milwaukee set right here. It'S an eight piece set. It'S a look at my notes here: it's a model number 48, 22, 2018 and an Amazon right now these run into a $ 50 price range. So I want to talk a little bit about these right here and show you close-up cuz. There are some unique features about this and why I recommend getting a so screwed Everest like this. What I did is I built my own little holder right here. I just did that on my drill press, but you could do it. You know with just a rigger drill and tape measure, so I have all eight screwdrivers that go back in the same place when I'm done I'm going to take some of these off right here and get a close-up look at my work, wrench here and all right. So this may be another video right here, but this is kind of like my go-to sort of electricians players right here. I think they're called like a eight in one or six and one type player. So I use this like for stripping the wire and for cutting it. This is very valuable, but a lot of people actually consider these screwdrivers right here to be like electricians, so, as you can see, for instance, the Phillips right here, this has a pull right there for bending the wire, so it'll Bend up to a 12 gauge wire. This right here is 14 gauge, so if you're serious stick in there and you twist, it around see how you get that nice Bend right there. So, if you're wiring up like a switch or an outlet that Bend, this would actually go on the ground over. There see how that goes on there, really nice, okay, so another cool feature with a screwdriver. This has this little stripper right here so check this out. I don't really ever use this before it. I tend to use the players spin it around and then pull it off all right. There see how that strips the wire. Let'S try the white line, just kind of spin it on the wire and pull it off BAM. Alright. So the set includes for the slotted, screwdrivers, all different sizes and lengths pretty ideal for, like all your different projects as two different Philips sizes right here. I believe us like at number one and number two sites Philips head. Then it has a square head number one and number two, so these both have the wire benders in them and they both have the wire stripper. So four of these screwdrivers that both the Phillips and both the square heads have the wire strippers on. So you won't cut your thumb. If you push that in there, you can't get your thumb into that razor right there. Only when you push on that wire will it go down into that cutting groove, there's a close-up of the cutting groove all right. So I'm here these screwdrivers were about a year now and I have to say that I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend um. I didn't want to do this review on the Israeli way. I want to actually put them through the test, so the tips seem to be holding up really well, there is price and drywall dust in there. As you can see, I did some wall anchors in the drywall. The thing that really liked about these it just has a really nice rubber grip. It'S very hard, durable plastic. It'S a forge tool. Shank has hardened tips on it, and this Phillips right here after year, really hasn't stripped out much at all. So I eventually will probably end up having to replace a couple of these, because this is kind of like the one that strips out the fastest the flat heads the flat ones right here. It'S led screwdrivers. These will probably last the longest. So one thing I like here is that the caps are marked for easy identification and I tend to just look at that stuff. I have on the wall right there and I can kind of tell which one I'm going after, but depending on how you do this. Sometimes I'll have these it's like on a shelf they're, just kind of facing me and I can just easily see what number I want and grab it and go so these screwdrivers do have a limited lifetime warranty. So you can't go wrong. I'Ve been very happy with all the Milwaukee tools that I have purchased so far. All this Milwaukee tool here right now is a sawzall which is probably like 25 years old, and it's still working just fine, it's kind of my go-to, but now I am switching over a little more to battery power instead of electric power. But I really like the Milwaukee brand and how they recommend it. So hopefully, this little quick review will give you some insight on a nice set of screwdrivers there's so many different ones to choose from. But I'd say with the way that the grips work in the way that these held on. So, if you're looking for a good set of screwdrivers, this is what I would purchase again if I lost these so just to testify how much I like these screwdrivers right here today. I actually went out and bought this three-piece set of insulated screwdrivers. I was doing some wonderful work recently and I caused some are keen to happen. So I decided you know it's time to get a nice insulated set and then I don't have to worry about having my hand on some metal and getting electrocuted.
