• Leanna is the fourth of seven heirs to the Folken Astronautics Parts and Supply dynasty, fifth generation and expected to run one of its many distribution centers in some far corner of the galaxy. She, however, would rather live her own life, and has thus escaped the bonds of her family's rigid education in proper nobility and sought out a new future on Poseidon's Paradise.
• Geoffrey Burns is the new hot-shot up-and-comer in the world of Intergalactic Fighting leagues, a bloodthirsty sport filled with ruthless, cybernetically enhanced scum as much as it is athletes. Having lost his arm in an accident working a mineral processing plant stationed on Ganymede, he swiftly found himself seeking out money and used his cybernetic replacement limb to score him some cash in illegal fighting rings. Quickly noticed on the Net, he was coached and given several opportunities in the small-time circuits by a variety of managers before running into Armand, who has been steering Geoffrey towards astronomical success since. Despite the carnage-fueled nature of the competition, Geoffrey himself avoids risking permanent injury or death where he can, relishing in the adrenaline and excitement of the fight itself.
• Armand is Geoffrey Burns' manager and former Intergalactic Fighting champion, though he himself had retired before the Intergalactic Warrior's Brawl had been established. Known for burning bright, he was also known for burning out just as quickly. He sees much of his younger self in Geoffrey, which is why he hopes to look out for the kid. However, he's not always great at expressing himself or his reasoning, as his conclusions always seem obvious to himself and therefore needing no further explanation. This is the greatest cause of conflict between himself and Geoffrey.
• Vicki Violet is one of the most popular gossip and celebrity journalists on the Net, and all because of her patented method of conducting an interview: engaging in sexual acts during the full duration, the length of which is determined by either her subject's stamina or her own. It has not only made her very popular with the celebrities hoping to garner her (repeat) attention, but with viewers online eager to see either her or her subject engaged in sexual activity. It has made her a great success, but at the age of thirty-five and having done this for fifteen years, she's starting to feel the years hitting her even as her libido increases. If she's going to cover such an intense sport on Poseidon's Paradise, she'll be needing help.
• Boltram, the Mad Lightning Fist is Geoffrey Burns' first official opponent in The Brawl.
