How to stay current in the world of music from your home country even if you've been stuck in the USA for the past 10 years

How are you doing? I am a Russki teenager who came to America for a better future. I was very poor back in Russia. I was not even near the middle class. I was never rich. My family, not me in general. In Russia young adults did not need money back when I was growing up, and consequently, we had to come up with ways to earn money. There are many strategies which resemble alcoholics asking their friends for money to buy their vodka bottles. The principle is the same. We would look for fast money for bread, or to get to work. We would always be hungry.

Then I came to America I've and have been here for some time and have seen the majority of the East Coast from Boston all up to Miami and Key West and all the way to the middle of the states. There's nothing like New York, Brooklyn or Brighton Beach. This is a place that reminds me of my childhood home. It's noisy, it's filthy, there's plenty of Russian spoken everywhere, rude people - it's normal Russian city bliss. There's plenty to do, including visiting Russian music stores and bookstores.

I am a music lover as much as I love reading books. As it turned out recently, you can find Russian books on Kindle. This is why I no longer buy hard-copy books. My wife, who's almost a hoarder has a small space within her home therefore I try to avoid buying unnecessary stuff. The stacks looked smart for the first few weeks before they began to look sad. I eventually moved them into my garage, which is big enough for my belongings.

However, music is a different thing. My job involves a lot of driving, so I have a lot of music. Because I'm an Russian citizen, there's no way that I would like new music in the USA. I don't like rap or hip hop. and all the trendy songs that children love to dance to.. The old Russian music is one of my favorites music, particularly the ones with prison themes. They are still extremely popular in Russia , even after twenty years. Youtube is the home of everything. When I return home after work, I spend hours listening to Youtube music.

After a while I was able build a long playlist of more than 300 songs that I really like. Because there are over 300 songs, it's easy to get used to the music. But when I want the songs to be played in my car, I don’t always have access to the internet. I require it to drive, and for navigation. I do the preparations at home. I'm currently in the middle. I take a few songs to Youtube as MP3 files. Then, I burn those MP3s to a CD with my computer. After that I drive the CD to my car to listen. The website I came across, it can take Youtube playlists and print all the songs in it. Each song can then be converted into mp3 and saved to my home computer. youtube to mp3 Once the songs are printed out, it is simple to save them to an audio CD. convert youtube mp3 Sometimes, I'm a little naughty and create a data CD, that won't play on my old car stereo. But the audio can be recorded. It's amazing to look at how technology works. I don’t need to log on to the internet or use any other gadgets to play MP3. I just insert CD into the car stereo and hear the Russian music booming in Manhattan.

It's simple and affordable to download video content from Youtube and convert them into MP3 files so that you can save them to your smartphone. My friend hooked up his phone to the car stereo , and it started playing top quality audio in less than 2 seconds. He also could stream Spotify and Pandora radio. It's not a huge undertaking and doesn't require much Internet. It sounds like something I'd love to consider trying. I will, however, be wary of using free wifi.
