"Many designers prefer to meet one-on-one with clients, so I'm somewhat unconventional in my push to include as many team members as possible, from interns to designers and draftsmen," says Wood, who focuses mostly on residential design but has a growing list of commercial projects.

By involving young team members in as many aspects of design projects as possible, Wood nurtures a well-rounded staff through exposure to design development and presentation, project planning, vendor sourcing, client interaction, site supervision and even financial budgeting.  - Is he educated? received his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University where he studied under the current powerhouses of modernism: Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaas and Coop Himmelb(l)au. Mr. Wood’s multilingual abilities have enabled him to work overseas on projects in Austria, Japan, Italy, Thailand and France. Prior to that he graduated top of his class at Cornell University with a 5 year Professional Degree in Architecture where he won Thesis of the Year, The Sands Memorial Medal, Downing Prize and several traveling fellowships.

The diversity of Mr. Wood’s experiences have allowed him to move between traditional, contemporary and modern styles with seamless fluidity, often combining styles for truly timeless compositions.
