Youtube How to find music that's hot or trending in other regions of the world.
The question has been in my thoughts for some time. Being in the USA, I am deeply submerged into the whole of the pop music culture. Dua Lipa wearing slippers, Kanye West admiring his tinier wife. Pop culture is something I love and I love the people who take part. I think I would be a fantastic host of one of these Gossip & Hollywood information-talk shows. They feature celebrities in their underwear. The hosts then switch to the less-popular and end with blasts of the past or glimpses to begin with that haven't been seen in a while. I would relay all of these news and rumors with passion, love and affection while most present hosts simply smack some of the information, but do not connect..

I've been trying my best to include music from other places in my listening collection. I'm only beginning to understand what is the most popular music in different countries. I started with a couple of European monoliths, such as Germany, UK France Sweden Spain Portugal etc. I believed I was an expert after spending hours on Youtube and it would provide me all the info I wanted. It was not simple. Apparently all one can see is the most popular and trendy music that is popular in their region, their country at most. So I looked at other websites to see if they had the top 20 most popular videos on Youtube for their nation. However, most of them were not up-to-date and no one wants to write about top 20 songs each week. This is intended for television. Hit-parades, and other such things.
So I kept searching.. After literally months of no to no results and not being able to find the most recent source of songs that are popular in other countries I was ready to give up. The only option I could come up with a solution was to use a Firefox free proxy plugin. (FF usually offers better plugins and the developers are more generous, I think). This would connect me to the Internet through someone else from a different country. I could then browse Youtube as if in Spain or Germany. It was not reliable as these connections can disappear and be slow. But, it was a solution so I used it. I was disappointed by the limited selection of countries and the need to search out reliable sources.
It was the Top 20 most popular Youtube videos link. According to the promise, upon demand it would load about two dozen popular music videos on Youtube, giving the USA chart at first.. Then , I switched the language of the interface, chose German and then the Top 20 most watched videos again. It was quite a surprise, Top 20 German-language trending music videos were loaded.. No matter how it happens, I loved the speed of delivery. It's simple, quick, and very user-friendly. There aren't any plugins or proxy servers. You just need to navigate and switch languages. Top songs from Korea (Syria), Hungary, Romania, Portugal, and even the Czech Republic are all there to enjoy.
