Pepper Savings Bank Could Christmas Break Make a Twist?

Back-to-back losses have hit double digits once again. Pepper Savings Bank has been mired in a swamp where it lost 11 consecutive games. Of course, it ranks poorly. After finishing the third round, the bank ranks seventh with two wins and 16 losses and seven points in the women's Dodram 2023-2024 V-League.

Pepper Savings Bank's latest and last win came in an away game against GS Caltex on April 10. At that time, it garnered two valuable points by winning the game after a close full set match. However, it failed to make an upward trend. It suffered a whopping 11 consecutive losses until it lost 2-3 at a home game against Korea Expressway Corporation on April 22.

Ahead of this season, Pepper Savings Bank made utmost efforts under given conditions. It has recruited players who have proven their skills in the V-League, including national striker Park Chung-ah and foreign player Yasmin who played for Hyundai E&C. Despite this, it has failed to escape the bottom ranks. Needless to say, attack and defense indicators are all at the bottom of the list, and Chung had to lose 15 games including the 1-3 home defeat on Tuesday.

The high-profile left-right double guns can hardly match any other team. However, the weight of the middle blocker (center) Jin Yong, led by Ha Hye-jin and Phillips, has declined, and his teammates and the starting setter Dr. Jin Yong are not strong enough.
