Minecraft Realms Opens up To Bring Mojang Servers Worldwide

Mojang's subscription service that hosts and creates multiplayer servers for Minecraft is available globally. Minecraft Realms was launched in North America last month on Mac and PC and Mojang has expanded it to other countries this week - there are no lost realms. For example, in the UK one month of the subscription costs eight Her Maj's Pounds sterling.

The price for North America's service is $13/month. However there are discounts available for three- and six-month subscriptions. Mojang promises minigames, exclusive events and an automatic backup feature.
