Safety Circle Champions Road Safety Initiatives with Focus on Road Safety Week and Road Safety Day

New Delhi, India: 30-09-2024 – Safety Circle, a leading health, and safety training organization, is thrilled to celebrate the commitment to road safety presently ongoing by participating in and contributing to Road Safety Week and Road Safety Day annually. Given the rising number of road disasters in the country, Safety Circle shall focus its efforts on creating awareness for all of the citizens on safe and viable roads.

Road Safety: A National Priority

Road Safety is one of the emerging concerns that requires serious consideration and immediate attention in India. Every year the country records a huge number of road accidents, and most of them account for injuries and /or death. According to the Safety Circle, lack of awareness and knowledge on the challenges are some of the reasons why people face them difficult to handle. Setting up proper practices, improving driving behavior, and enhancing people’s awareness, Safety Circle has the mission to decrease the rate of accident occurrences and save millions of passengers, drivers, and pedestrians.

It was also reported that the human factor is one of the biggest causes of road accidents in the country of India. Common traffic nuisances like careless driving, drink-driving and other forms of distracted driving are always a major threat to everyone using the roads. Safety Circle has undertaken endeavors during Road Safety Week and Road Safety Day to address them by enlightening people with sufficient knowledge to act responsibly on roads.

A Week of Action: Road Safety Week

It is during Road Safety Week that Safety Circle can help the public appreciate and embrace safer roads. This week, several activities will be taken, events, and workshops conducted by Safety Circle to pass the message on the impact of safe roads to all age groups. This means reaching the school-going children, motorists, the walking and cycling populace, and the general public.

Some of the event programs that Safety Circle is planning are discussion meetings let alone organizing the safe driving training sessions, defensive driving awareness, and implications of speeding. Particular emphasis will be made on such topics as seat belts, no use of mobile phones while driving and no racing against pedestrians.

In our area, Safety Circle will also organize fun and informative activities such as road safety vignettes, traffic light exercises, demonstrations on safe road crossing, traffic signs, and other road safety features for the children from school. This way, through educating children from their early ages Safety Circle strives to bring up a new generation of citizens, who will be oriented on the problem of road safety and would not take it lightly.

Marking Road Safety Day: A Call to Responsibility

Road Safety Day will hence be celebrated by the Safety Circle as part of fulfilling this last objective of taking the message about road safety to the four corners of the world. On this day, there are going to be safety circle programs concerning the campaigns which are running with the aim, of encouraging the people having vehicles to behave defensively. The idea is to make the public examine how, when, and why they drive and the various effects that recklessness on the roads can have on other road users.

On Road Safety Day, Safety Circle will engage businesses, schools, and community organizations to present semináres, demonstrations, and even some sorts of drills. These events are going to educate the viewers about safe riders, particularly the use of helmets by the riders of two-wheelers, drunken driving, and the necessity of paying full attention while driving.

Observance of Road Safety Day is a possibility to explain to the population that road safety is not an issue of motorists’ likelihood solely, but also of pedestrians, bicycle owners, and all the others who share the roads. Imaginably, working with other stakeholders, Safety Circle expects everyone to own the roads to ensure they become safer.

Road Safety Awareness Campaign by Safety Circle

Recognizing road safety as a multi-stakeholder effort, this is what BPS Bakshi, CEO of Safety Circle has to say about road safety. It has been suggested that Road Safety Week and Road Safety Day are good reasons to focus on the problem of road safety. This will be achieved through our various campaigns, which will aim at improving the attitude of drivers and pedestrians in equal measure with the belief that this will contribute significantly to the reduction of accidents on the roads.

From the facts and incident stated above, Safety Circle has come to realize that making people, especially the drivers aware of the issues facing them on the road and engaging them on them is all it takes to achieve the desired positive change towards improving the road safety. It has thus applied the company approach through consulting with local communities, government agencies, and corporate associations on adopting the best practices in the management of road safety.
