This market is made up of different areas offering fresh seafood, fresh vegetables, household items, and cooked food. There are many stalls selling battered/tempura-style seafood like crab legs, squid, and prawns. There are also takeaway steamed crab stands, offering a more affordable way to sample local crabs than many crab restaurants in the city. The market can get very busy in the evenings but is also a great place to try some of the local delicacies.
