Lil Durk is taking a break after stage surge

Rapper Lil Durk states he is requiring time off to recover after being harmed by a pyrotechnic at the Lollapalooza event in Chicago.

When a smoke bomb went off in his face on Saturday night, the 29-year-old was playing to a group of thousands.

In fan-captured video, he was seen incredible backwards from the gadget as well as cleaning his eyes with a tee shirt.

Lollapalooza has not discussed the event, which came as Lil Durk was doing the track Back In Blood throughout his early evening set.
