Pachinko Operator Establishs Smartphone Game Plan

A company that said it planned to open a Pachinko store in Salt Lake City, Utah, in July announced on Tuesday that it had asked its software provider to build digital Pachinko games for smartphones and tablets.

CMK Gaming International (CMKI) is working with Root 1 Games, a UK-based game developer and publisher.

CMKI recently purchased a 100% stake in a Nevada corporation called CMK Nevada, which "owns and operates three retail game centers commonly referred to as 'Pachinko stores' in Japan," according to a filing by CMKI in May to OTC Markets, a New York-based OTC stock exchange.

CMKI's digital game player is in development in Salt Lake City and will receive points and rewards for use at its Pachinko store, which is scheduled to open this year, the company said in a statement.

Shana Weiner, who was described as CMKI's CEO in a recent announcement, said: "...hopefully this mobile app will let our customers taste the products in the store when we open our Pachinko store in Salt Lake City."

CMKI believes its mobile games will help drive customers to stores in the U.S. and introduce players to the latest version of Pachinko, which can be purchased in Japan.

The company aims to own and operate Pachinko stores "throughout the United States," according to a statement on Tuesday.  슬롯사이트 순위

In Japan, Pachinko, a game in which players pay upfront for steel balls in pinball-style upright cabinets and exchange winning balls for prizes, is regulated by designating them as speculative entertainment rather than gambling.
