Space Exploration on Xbox and PC: "Astroneer" Launches February 6th

Astroneer, an exploration game in space that has gained a significant fan base during its Early Access stage. After a few hints and announcing it, the game now has an official release date. The game developed by System Era Softworks will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 beginning on February 6, 2019. It will cost $29.99 at launch.

If you're not one of the two million players who play the early stages version of Astroneer and here's what you should expect: The interplanetary survival sandbox game an interesting mix of Minecraft and fellow space exploration game No Man's Sky. In Astroneer you play as an explorer in space trying to survive and thrive in the treacherous terrain. You'll find resources as you explore the solar system's unknown planets. These resources can be used to construct bases, construct vehicles and conduct research. Astroneer will allow cross-play between Xbox One adventurers as well as PC adventurers. It will also offer dedicated servers that will give players to explore and build asynchronously.

The pre-release version of the game is available from Steam Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview for $19.99. The price will increase to $29.99 on November 16th, in preparation for the launch public. If you are a early supporter, you will receive an "Retrosuit" If you join before the deadline.
