Though it's also popular with younger kids, Dragon Ball Manga is an internationally popular teenager and young ãdül† media franchise. It consists mainly of a manga series made by Akira Toriyama in 1984, four anime show, nineteen animated feature films, an American live action movie, collectible card games as well as other collectible merchandises, a lot of video games (still being made), and action figures. Dragon Ball Manga comes with an extensive fanbase that is on-line and is consistently among the very often searched-for terms on Google, Yahoo!, and Lycos.
The storyline and characters of Dragon Ball Manga were partially inspired by the Chinese people novel Journey to the West, though they and the novel diverge quickly. The storyline follows the experiences of the lead character Son Goku (on the basis of the Monkey King of the folk legend, Sun Wukong) from his youth through his maturity. The narrative contains components both of humor and action, although the show became more activity-oriented over time.
