Formatting issues cause frustration and wasted time. They prevent code from being as effective as it could be.

Style Options

Styles are reusable collections of formatting options such as fonts and colors that you can apply to text in documents. You can either create new styles or modify existing ones. Or you can manage the styles gallery so that you have quick access to commonly used formats.

Use Go To Style for formatting text in your document with any style type, including Character and Paragraph.

Select the text to be formatted, navigate to the Styles gallery in the Home tab, and select one of the types. Or create one from formatted text by using Create New Style from the Formatting dialog box; name it accordingly before clicking OK for easy application in future selections. Styles gallery automatically displays the new style so that future selections don't require additional clicks.

To edit a style's settings, to do so select it in the Styles gallery and click Edit on the mini toolbar that appears above the selection. From here you can modify font family and font style as well as size, leading, kerning tracking options case options plus adding ligatures, changing Stroke Alignment settings or checking Overprint Fill and Stroke options if available.

Materials

The Go To Style collection offers an impressive range of colors and textures that complement any wardrobe. This versatile set can be used to create a bolder, or more subtle style statement.

Style materials, also known as crafting items, are used to determine how armor and weapons will look in their respective styles. Style materials are obtained by looting random containers, disassembling weapons that have been crafted with the respective style, or purchasing them from merchants.

These materials are also useful for crafting furnishings that can be sold to other players for a decent amount of gold, making them semi-valuable assets to collect whenever possible - especially those required for Blacksmithing, Woodworking or Clothier sealed master writs.
