Apex Cam Review - Is the HXperia Mini Pro Better Than The Apexcam?
The new Apexcam Hi Wireless IP Camera from Horizon Creations really does live up to all of the hype surrounding this product. There are so many things that you can do with an Apexcam Hi, but the biggest is probably the ability to connect it to your computer via its USB port and view the videos on your PC from pretty much anywhere you are. When you are at your home office, at your school, or at a friend's house this is truly one of the best products for you to consider. I will take a more in depth look at the product as I go through this review and hopefully when you're done reading this article you'll know a lot more about it.
The Apexcam Hi is a beautiful crafted small 4k ultra slim digital action camera with a front and rear camera lens input, a built-in hot mic and built in wifi radio. The only thing missing was an LCD screen. Other features included a high-definition video mode, manual framing, a large, full-color LCD screen, and a large memory card for storing footage. The camera also comes with a waterproof housing, carrying case, and an extra battery. This particular feature isn't available yet though.
At first I wasn't very impressed with the build quality of the camera, which is typical for an affordable action cam. It seemed like it was going to be a bit flimsy in the hands, especially since it is a Hi. Fortunately the camera is extremely sturdy and well constructed. It is however a bit on the heavy side, so I recommend getting a replacement battery if it doesn't last the test of time. I was able to get over that problem since the camera's battery life lasted me around two and a half hours.
The other major con that I saw was the fact that the camera did not have image stabilisation. You can shoot in manual mode, but still the images looked a little wobbly. Image Stabilisation is an important feature to look for, especially if you plan on doing any shoots outdoors. The stabilisation made the camera stable while recording, but it didn't help much when editing the images afterwards.
https://bestreviewsca.com/apexcam-electronics_16927/ Like I mentioned above the one big feature that the apexcam m90 pro action camera had that the others didn't was a built-in waterproof housing. This was great because I could go swimming, go surfing, and even take my laptop with me when going hiking. Although the built-in waterproof housing for the action camera was pretty cool, it did have one very big con. While it did keep the camera relatively safe from the wind and rain it left the screen susceptible to fingerprints.
The camera also has a number of other accessories, which I thought were cool. One of these accessories is the H20 splashproof mic, which makes taking videos much easier. The microphone is also waterproof and has an excellent sound quality. There is also a fantastic carrying case for the H20 that will protect your camera and your ears from being damaged by the rain. All of these extras make the H20 clip much more appealing.

One issue with the H20 clip is the lack of stability. This is not a big problem, but if you intend to do lots of long videos or shoot multiple clips at different views and angles then you may find that the frame of the H20 is not stable enough when shooting video. This is easily fixed though; all you have to do is attach the stabilisation strap. The stabilisation system on the H20 is excellent, and the additional strap included with the camera makes it extremely easy to carry and use.
If you are looking for an excellent waterproof digital camera that has a lot of features and would like to be able to shoot in different conditions than you may be better off buying the HXperia Mini Pro instead. With this camera you can take up to twenty-five minutes of footage underwater without risk of it becoming ruined. The built in underwater housing ensures that the camera is completely protected and the two rechargeable batteries allow you to get long video recordings.
