This Zelda: Breath of the Wild Mod For Minecraft Completely Hyrules

The vast and lovely landscapes of Breath of the Wild are such a perfect match for Minecraft that someone designed the entire BOTW map in the past year, but that was just a starting point. Another modder pair have added in some crucial Zelda gameplay using a functional Sheikah Slate and all its features including a boomerang, Sheikah towers and a lot more. You can give the creeps who are apprehensive about their exploding attempts to torture you with Link's remote that detonates explosive bombs.

As spotted by PCGamesN As reported by PCGamesN, the Breath of the Wild datapack was designed by modders Craiy and Joris, and it's actually very cool.

The Bokoblin camps, which are quite frequent in Minecraft as well as the less common Sheikah Towers which look like the huge spires Link climbs to reach Hyrule, are the most obvious features that you'll see in your Minecraft world. Fighting Bokoblins and taking their Boko Stick clubs is a good start but your next priority should be crafting some ladders and climbing to the top of the Sheikah tower. You'll then be able take out the Sheikah multitool for destruction and begin causing havoc.

You can grab and move around metal blocks like copper or iron using the magnesis function, use both the round and square remote bombs to take out those bokoblin camps, use stasis to throw goats off cliffs exactly the way they are supposed to, and also create especially tricky parkour courses using cryonis.

Actually, it would be really cool to create a floating water base that can only be entered through cryonis ice pillars no? I did try to channel my inner Link by dropping iron blocks on top of bokoblins but they simply swoop through them and land on the ground instead of causing damage. Don't pretend I didn't attempt to smack them in the face.

The boomerang and hero's tunic are rare but worth looking for-especially the tunic that lets you see an enemy's current health. Craiy explains everything and more in the mod show video below.

The current version is compatible with Minecraft 1.19. However, Craiy claims that they are working on an updated version of the BOTW Datapack.

Unfortunately, the creator of last year's Breath of Wild map decided not offer it for download. You might instead look out for the map that is being created by Grazzy. This is the datapack Craiy and Joris used as a showcase. It's not a good idea to use them together since Grazzy is creating Sheikah towers by himself , and the BOTW datapack creates them. Or, hey, maybe even mix your Zeldas with the Wind Waker style you can see on our top Minecraft texture packs list.
