It looks like this is a preemptive post, there seems to be no redeem button on the Mojang account page right now. I assume it'll be there tomorrow upon release.

i get as far as a redeem button on microsofts account and billing page but it claims to have an error. is there a redemption deadline?

Windows 10 is being rolled out "today"/"tomorrow" depending where you are. look at me never rat on your friends and always keep your mouth shut would guess the button will be available at 12:01 Wednesday morning Sweden time.

Also not seeing a Redeem button. Can't wait for tomorrow, though!

If you have an addon to force https open it in ie as the link is http only.

Instructions:

Download the tool.

Run it and go through the steps, it will let you format a USB drive or disk for the install.

Open your drive you installed it on and run the installer.

It will install and activate automagically.

You can also save an ISO for later but do an in place update first so your key is activated.

I have installed the beta and it is confirmed working and free.

I just got it. It's amazing how well optimized the game is. My PC's fans don't even bother to spin up and the CPU's almost idle all the time.

Are there gameplay differences?

Yeah, if it runs great on mobile you'd expect it to run pretty good on PC too :)

Just got it. 2% CPU and 200mb on singleplayer LOL. #NEXTGEN anyways, there is some noticable mouse delay looking around, otherwise looks great. Really wish we could edit a few more settings like Mip-Mapping and AA. Textures turn mushy after a distance and the water glare is a bit weird. Other than that, great port guys :) Now I can play with my xbox friends :P

I noticed the same, mouse acceleration seems to be weird as well.

Its a rough port at the time. It runs on C++ so it runs super smooth. But needs some touching up to cater to the PC audience. As of right now it seems like a mobile game.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but how do you have it already? Did some people get Windows 10 early?
