Will getting a refund on extended warranty and GAP insurance cause my interest to go up?

"I got into a vehicle accident a couple of months before (my mistake). My claim was denied by our insurance provider and did not pay for the problems. Fast forward to nowadays I obtain a page indicating that the gentleman who struck me's insurance carrier are requiring that I spend them 6129 bucks. I really don't have that type of money im only 22 and I dwell with my parents. What will they are doing if you ask me easily cant pay them
