Mod Support is Available for The Space RPG Star Traders Frontiers'

Trese Brothers have announced that their amazing space exploration RPG Star Traders: Frontiers is getting modding support, three years after the initial release.

As what seems to be their most popular PC release, Star Traders: Frontiers was able to gain some kind of following and a Very Positive overall rating on Steam from more than 2.5K people. They have released 250 upgrades in the past with some smaller and others huge, introducing a variety of new features.

Andrew Trese, Creative Director and co-founder of the game, announced the modding support announcement. "Players feedback and suggestions have always been a deep source of ideas for us to draw from, and the game's momentum continues to grow years after its release. Mod support is an obvious addition."

This is what they're planning for initially to modify:

1. All players will have access to an editor for saving their game that allows them to personalize their playthroughs. 2. Steam Workshop tools allow you to upload and download mods, and also a separate moddable build. 3. SERVER LIST Officially-supported access & documentation to the game database for mod creation.

Cory Trese (Co-Founder and Technical Director) said, "We love the idea of mod support for our games." "Star Traders has the player base as well as the depth and I think an agelessness that will really make it worth the investment."
