Donner Summit

Its renowned mountain bike trails have made it a popular destination for bikers and snow mobilers alike. Skiing was once a spectator sport with ski racing and jumping taking place on the slopes. However, visionary individuals continued to improve the technique and equipment, building lodges and small ski areas. The first skiers arrived by train, and the Norden station was even built inside a snow shed!
Donner Ski Area

After the bike course, you'll be treated to the beauty of the Donner Ski Area's valley.

There's a short, family-friendly run at Donner Ski Ranch that's located near Donner Lake, just off Donner Pass Road.
