Minecraft: Java Edition. Available on the Minecraft website. - Java. Available here. Or a non-compatible headset such Oculus Quest 1, 2, GearVR, Google Cardboard or Vive Focus. - A PC capable of running VR on an exclusive GPU. The integrated Intel graphics are not supported. Gaming laptops typically require configuration to use the dedicated GPU in order to play Minecraft. See the faq for more details. - Either standing motion controls or a keyboard or mouse. Gamepads are not supported at the moment.

Downloads

Vivecraft is available for several Minecraft versions. All versions include Optifine which adds shaders support, dynamic lights, and other improvements to graphics. All versions are available online. Certain versions don't support VR features, or Forge mods.

Each version comes with 4 downloads. The VR Client is the main mod for VR players. The NonVR (2D) Client is for desktop gamers who wish to see VR animations or LAN-host. The Spigot plugin allows animations to be enabled on Spigot servers. The Forge server mod is to enable animations on the Forge server.

Installing Vivecraft

Installation is easy. Follow these instructions to install the Vivecraft client. The process for installing is the same for both the initial installation and subsequent updates. Vivecraft can be installed several times, with various options, without any problems.

1. Run the Minecraft Launcher on your PC at least once in order to create the game folders. It's not necessary to start the game. Close the launcher. 2. Make sure that the Minecraft Launcher is NOT running. 3. Start the Vivecraft Installation. You will see the checkboxes for each installation option. Hover your mouse over each option and you'll look at its contents. In general, you should leave the defaults. If you need assistance with Forge modifications, you should check the Forge box. If Forge isn't detected by the installer it will download and run it for you. Don't allocate more RAM than you actually need. 4GB is sufficient for all modpacks, except the most powerful.

4. Click install. The program will download files and create your launcher profile. 5. If you are using laptop. Make sure that you enable the high-performance processor on the GPU control panel. For more information, check out the FAQ. 6. Run the Minecraft Launcher. 7. You should have already chosen the profile for Vivecraft. If not, be sure to look in the "modded profiles" box. 8. Click Play.
