To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, go to Minecraft Forge We suggest you choose the installer-win (Or installer if you're using other OS) since it is more user-friendly.

Part 2: Install Mod Loader. Note Prior to installing the Mod Loader, make sure you have the correct minecraft version installed on your computer.

1. Open the installer to start installing. Click on the Install Client, then press OK.

2. Top top blog will begin by patching the version files, and downloading any libraries from the internet.

Note: Launchers that are cracked can cause the installation process to fail. This guide will help to fix it.

3. When you open the Minecraft launcher, you'll discover that a profile named Forge is added to your profile list. You can delete the profile and create your own profile and choose the Forge version manually.

Optional: You can remove your Forge profile and change the version name to what you prefer. However this requires additional skills that I won't go into here.

Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder within your AppData and see whether there's mods folder. If you don’t see it, create one.

2. Google for mods! I am trying this Minimap mod. Make sure you download the correct version of the mod, otherwise it won't work!

Note : Always go through their description, requirements and assistance before installing any mod!

3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in .jar file) into your mods folder in .minecraft.

Part 4 - Loading mod into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. This screen will pop up. The screen should display the number of mods installed , plus 3 if the installation was done correctly.

Note 1 : If you install many mods at once, you might find it incompatible with other mods. Always check their mod pages to see any incompatible mod list. NOTE 2: It is recommended to install mods 1 by 1 to see which one will cause a crash to the game. This will make it easier to fix mod issues.
