Park Ji-sung's best friend shock confession

Patrice Evra, a Manchester United native and famous for being a close friend of Park Ji-sung, confessed to her shocking past of being sexually abused as a child.

The person who sexually abused Evra as a teenager was shockingly a teacher. The memory of being sexually abused by a teacher shocked Evra, which led to distrust in adults.

According to the media, Evra said in an interview with "BBC Radio 5 Live" that "I call myself a survivor, not a victim. He took away my sensitivity and trust," adding, "So at first, I had a hard time with some directors because no one believed me."

"He took all the ordinary things from me, but he didn't take as much as my dignity," he added. "The difficult part was when I had to tell my mother while I was locking up my trip to Paris," he said. "I told her that I was too shocked for her, and she cried nonstop, feeling guilty."

In his 2021 autobiography, Evra revealed that he had been sexually abused at his teacher's home. He also confessed that the abuse led him to trade drugs and beg on the street.

Evra, who has terrible memories, didn't want his children to experience the same thing. He insisted, "Protecting all the billions of children today is more important than winning the Champions League or the Premier League."

"One of the two children experiences violence, even if they are of different types," he said. "We don't comment on this, but this is true, and it turned out to be statistics."

French defender Evra is a legend who played 379 games for Manchester United from 2005 to 2014. He is regarded as one of the best left-backs in the club's history as he has won many trophies including five Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League title.

To Korean soccer fans, Park Ji-sung is famous for his close relationship with the Korean soccer legend. The two players led Manchester United's heyday together and have maintained close friendship with their fans.

Evra, who visited Park's home at the invitation of Park Ji-sung during his time at Manchester United, asked how to say hello in Korean, when a playful Park taught him to say, "I'm a fool." Evra, who straightforwardly believed Park's words, made Park and soccer fans laugh by saying, "I'm a fool" several times.

This became a background for Korean fans to feel familiar with Evra. That's why many fans were shocked that Evra had a dark past that they didn't want to think of.    스포츠토토
